Driving from Rome to Ascoli Piceno

We took a three hour drive across the Italian countryside from Rome to Ascoli Piceno to visit my nephew Ervin his wife Aurora and their daughter Edda. Making the drive was difficult because I wanted to keep stopping to take photos! My nephew suggested that we take this country drive instead of the autostrada - we are so happy we took this scenic route. Did you enjoy it also?

Ciao~ nora

Are you kidding? Ha! They look like something you'd find on the glossy pages of the Conde Naste travel magazine! Hey, you can be a travel writer!! Your comments about the food & people & scenery of the world could be published in the Sunday travel section of the newspaper. Or, better yet, you can write a book!

For now, I will just enjoy my own personal copy of Nora's travel journal. It's food for my soul.

i would love to be a travel writer - the only problem right now is that internet is so costly in the UK - we joined a library and now we get free one hour sessions, i can't post blog photos from anywhere except our laptop, but this is better than no internet at all. went for a major hike today along the coast - totally breath taking - glorious - what a view.

sheri you are too funny my love. hair in the sunlight was courtesy of my visa card - i had it colored in italy in a shop that did not speak english. can you say nervous nora? currently in the UK for 3 weeks - in a library using free internet - a travel secret baby.
