A local ceramic artist shows us her kiln - we bought a wine topper from her
A flower shop display
a very old door which I sat by for a rest
Italiano gatto
me - by the river Arno
Dave was not allowed to take this photo
A cook visits with friends
a flurry of pink feathers on the merry go round
the back side of a puppet show
Justin Timberlake chats on his cell phone by graffiti

Art students sketching
A walkway between buildings
The Plaza outside of the Uffizi

View from our train - it was lovely like this most of the way
I am lovin Italy "This Much"
ROAR!
Could you make a wonderful meal right here or what?
The Ponte Vecchio (The Old Bridge)
This is one of the bridges across the Arno river that was not bombed out during WWII

We took a seven hour train trip to Firenze Italy for a mini two day get away. I wanted to see more art - we went to the Uffizi and were amazed. Here are a few photos of how I saw Firenze - I am not going to try to include statues or historical churches - you can look at that on line - this is my personal perspective.

ciao, nora

Is that really Justin Timberlake? I don't really care about him, but celebrities are always visiting Europe, right? See anyone else famous?
Did you guys rent that car? I've always wondered how average-size people fit in there.
Looks like that lion is eating David. Cool.
