He filled an empty 2 litre water bottle for me.

our hotel on the right "Stucky Molina Hilton" It is an old flour mill and factory.
From the airport there are 2 ways to get to Venice. A water taxi - or a bus that takes a long time. So we splurged a little bit and had a private water taxi bring us to our hotel - still less expensive than a gondola ride.
We spent 3 wonderful nights in Venice Italy - it felt like being in Italy was like coming home. Finally a culture I could understand. Here are some photos of our time here in Venice. And no, we didn't go on a Gondola ride - first of all it seems a little bit cheesy - and second of all it is way too expensive. Any guesses on the price?
Ciao, Nora Roush

Now you've gotta tell us how much the gondola ride cost. I have absolutely no clue. Here's a guess though: double the price of the "water taxi"?
I'm with Shirley - I just can't imagine NOT taking a gondola ride, even if it was just for 5 minutes. I took one at the Venice hotel/casino in Las Vegas once - fun!
We paid $40 each to take a 2-hour ride to see buffalo in South Dakota.
That jeweled underwear was quite something - Randy might have liked that! Myself, I would have ordered the ice cream & chocolate gondola-yum!
